Narrated by the gorgeous Angie Collier, of Angie Who fame (seriously, get your mitts on her Littlefolk album - it is bee-yoo-tee-ful!) and complete with sound FX (so we've been told, we haven't actually heard it yet) makes us SO SO SO excited....
I'm going to be visiting Newcastle Writers Festival for their Family Fun Day!!
Renee and I will be performing in The Marquee at Wheeler Place (ask your folks where that is!) at 11.40am on Sunday 8th April. Mark it on the calendar, we'd love to see you there!
There will be lots of awesome story and book creators there. Check out the program to see who's coming along plus read about all the cool activities happening on the day! (Click on the picture of me and my jamming pals to see)
I am SOOOOOOO excited for Christmas! Are you?! Only 10 more sleeps until Santa arrives... Winston and I have been REALLY good so I think we'll be on Santa's 'nice list' this year. :-)
What's on your Christmas wish list? I would LOVE a TURBO 1000 Reversable Retractable Fan (so cool!) and Winston has asked for some of Freda's frozen fish... thawed though!
I wonder what my very-bestest friends have asked for? Hang on a tic, I'll go ask them!
In the meantime, take a look at this Christmas ditty, Renee and I have recorde...
Watch this spine-tinglingly great interview with children's author, Debra Tidball and me! Debra reads me her new, super-duper and super-interactive book, The Scared Book, and then we chat about all things not scary, including food! Yummo.
Only one more sleep to go until the last day of school for Term 2! I'm SO excited for these school holidays. Wanna know why? Nope, not just because I get to sleep in or eat whenever I want (Mum says I'm dreaming, but I know how to sneak a snack) or hang out with the gang or play guitar all day... I'm doing a Digby Fixit Live show! Super-duper!
Renee and I (and the gang!) will be visiting Wallsend District Library (NSW) on Tuesday July 11 to present Digby and the Yodelayhee Who?! Come along at 10.30am for lots of laughs and...
Stories from the Big Blue Chair is a new after school program that starts next week AND Renee and I will be sharing Digby and the Yodelayhee Who? for its first session! Woo hoo! If you live near Toronto in NSW, come along to the library at 3.30pm on Tuesday 23rd May, for a special story-time with us. We can't wait!
It's free to join in the fun, but RSVP is needed so the library staff know how many people will be coming. You can book your spot by clicking on the picture, below.
On Saturday 4th March, Digby and the Yodelayhee Who? celebrated its launch at Wallsend District Library and WOW! It was the very bestest morning EVER!
It was a rainy day which was perfect for a book launch, inside a cozy library. Guests started arriving and the crowd got bigger and bigger – there was a huge line to get in!
Renee greeted guests and tried not to show how nervous she was, but I think this photo shows the truth, hee hee!
The super-duper MC team of Leroy and Rosie kicked things off with a very entertaining speech...
Holy Dooley, I can't believe today has FINALLY arrived! I think this is pretty up there with waking up on Christmas morning after Santa has been. It's my new book's birthday today! Hippity hip hip hooray!
And what's a birthday without a bit of music to get your toes tapping - I hope you like this song... here's a hint... you MIGHT see and hear it somewhere else, pretty soon. So listen hard, sing along, dance along, play along and... have FUN!
Happy Publication Day, Digby and the Yodelayhee... Who?!
No, it's not where we catapult books to the moon (but how cool would that be?!), it's a special event that happens when a new book is created. You know, like a party to celebrate the book being born. And, well, guess what? MY new book is being born really soon AND you're all invited to the party, I mean, launch!
Here's an invitation, just for you. We're going to have so much fun playing, reading, colouring, making music, eating, laughing... I hope...
This is just the very-bestest thing ever, in the whole entire world... It's a book trailer for my next book!!! Take a look and you'll see what I mean - how clever are those kids over at Tadaa Book?!
A hundred million clevers!!
